Menschen in der OEG

I sketched all the people in this drawing while doing the rounds in the circular ‘OEG’ train line which goes from Mannheim to Weinheim to Heidelberg and back to Mannheim, covering the rush hours from ca. 6:30 to 10:00 am, and then selectively covered it in several layers of acrylic medium playing with those bits in watersoluble ink, and protecting it so it can be framed without glass. It will also be on show during my open studio this sunday.

(ink and acrylic on paper, 18 x 91 cm, 1200 €)

P.S. The blue grey is close to that in the picture of Oberbaumbrücke in the last posting, as both are drawn in a similar technique, particularly the same kind of water-soluble ink washed over on the same kind of paper.
